Welcome to St. John Presbyterian!
If this is your first time worshipping at St. John, we have two main ways to worship on Sunday mornings: our Adult Sunday School begins at 10 AM and our Worship Service begins at 11:00 AM. Each lasts an hour. Here is what to expect from each service:
Adult Sunday School (10 AM)
This gathering happens in a classroom connected to the main church. When you come to the church, head to the main entryway and someone will point the way.
Main Worship Service (11:00 AM)
This service is in the church sanctuary and begins promptly at 11:00 AM. Enter through the main doors. Expect good music from our choir, as well as a Bible-based message from Pastor Ramiro Ros. If this is your first time as our guest, we do not expect a gift from you, but would be thrilled to have you fill out a pew card and sign our guest book so we can follow up with you!
Answers to some questions you might have:
What to wear?
At St. John, dress can be casual or more formal, depending on your preference. Feel free to dress comfortably.
Do I need anything for the service?
You do not need anything other than a pen to take notes with, if you like. Bibles are provided in the sanctuary and hymns and relevant verses are displayed on the projector.
What other opportunities are there for worship and fellowship?
There are many opportunities at St. John to have fellowship with one another, to worship God together, and to serve together as each person’s interests and abilities allow. Additional worship and fellowship opportunities can be found on the “Missions” and “Christian Education” pages of this site. Feel free to contact us at 813-872-0333 or email church staff at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you may have. The office is open on Mondays and Fridays from 9 AM – 5 PM.
Is a service offered in Spanish?
The service is primarily in English; however, the pastor provides a synopsis of the readings and sermon when he is made aware that there are people in attendance who would appreciate it.
