Missions

At St. John Presbyterian Church each person is part of a caring community. Each person adds his or her own unique talents and abilities to the ministry of our church. Together we try to share God’s love and compassion to those in our community and in our world. In this church family we seek to care for one another and for others.

If you would like to get involved in a mission, please contact the church staff at (813) 872-0333 or through the church e-mail at stjohnpctampa@gmail.com. The staff, elders, and most especially, the members of St. John are happy to welcome you to all activities.

Missions:

Judeo Christian Health Clinic (JCHC) – It is our belief that we should do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. In that spirit JCHC provides free, quality, timely and compassionate health care to medically indigent residents. Please contact JCHC directly at 813-870-0395.

The Learning Center – Opened in 1995, The Learning Center provides scholarships to families in need for nationally accredited pre-school education and after-school care. Please contact The Learning Center directly at (813) 872-6826.

McClain Foundation Home – The McClain Foundation Home, also on our church property, is a family-oriented home for eight women with developmental disabilities. Opened in 1980, it has helped the women maximize their potential in all areas of their lives in a supervised, extended family atmosphere.

Thrift Shop – The mission of the Thrift Shop is to offer clothing and household goods at a reasonable price, and to do this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. The shop is located at the church. Hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We will continue our monthly three day Thrift shop.
